Why, you ask? Because I can.
Seriously, I’ve been watching this since I heard the announcement about it on Gizmodo.com. These were supposed to have been in stock, but sold out. So far, I haven’t heard about anyone actually buying them, though. Naturally, when I saw that the Hasbro website was claiming they were in stock, I had to order one. And, just in case, I thought I should go ahead and order two.

Oh, one thing to know, too, is that for the same price as the regular EBF-25, at the Hasbro website, you can get the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 value pack, which includes a carry strap and a spare belt for your FULLY AUTOMATIC BELT-FED NERF MACHINE GUN!

Sorry. I guess my inner child is looking forward to getting this.
Who knew?

  1. Never apologize for the inner child. When my friends and I were in our early 30’s my BFF Shane’s mother gave him laser tag. We ran around zapping each other…it was a riot!

  2. Well, Jenn, I’ll be 40 this year, so I guess I feel a little self-conscious indulging my inner child quite so much. But, you notice, it wasn’t going to stop me!

  3. Hmmm, don’t know what a Vulcan Nerf IS.
Now Slip ‘n’ Slide? THAT’S something I can get excited about….

  4. And what exactly are you going to shoot with this mammoth gun and will there be pictures. 🙂

  5. Dataceptionist, if you use the search thingy over in my navigation column, you can find several posts about it here.
Do you have Nerf guns in Australia? Soft darts for kids. Only this one is a battery-operated, belt-fed, machine-gun of joy.

Laanba, you can bet there will be pictures! Not sure what I’ll be shooting, except anyone who walks through the door at my house, but you can be sure there will be pictures.

Oh, and I got notification that this shipped yesterday for sure. I even have a tracking number for FedEx. It’s scheduled for delivery on 7/29. Yea!

  7. Hmm, no can’t say I’m aware of Nerf guns in Oz. We have Super Soakers?

  8. We have Super Soakers, too, but I’m not that much of a watersports kind of guy these days. If you’ve got nephews, check out HasbroToyShop.com and see if they’ll ship down under. You’d be their favorite auntie forever, I promise!
